BRIGHT ACADEMY is an English medium school, whose prime patrons were late MR.BISHWESHWAR SINGH ROY, retired teacher, ST.Xavier School, SBG, Late Mr Tapan kumar Bandhopadhyay, social worker& a great musician and Mr Bhubaneshwar Singh Roy, Senior Advocate at the High court at Kolkata. They realized the demand of the day, and inaugurated BRIGHT ACADEMY in the year 2001. The School is run by Humour educational &Charitable Trust, Registration Number being IV-00172 of 2014.

The responsibility of the day to day administration of the school is vasted in the Principal.TheGoverning Body looks after the overall mangment,and is concerned with the finance, general welfare and lying of bord educational policies.

It receives no Government Aid, hence fee is the only source of income. Therefore, fee has to be adjusted from time to time to keep up with the rising price index and salaries. Ten present annual increase in the tution fee or any other fee is considered normal.

AIMS OF THE INSTITUTION

The aim of the institution is to impart sound value based education by forming in the children habits of piety, virtue, discipline and self-reliance during the years of the studies, thus enabling them to be dutiful useful citizens of their motherland, India. It imparts education, without distinction of caste or creed, and help students to develop an integrated personality with sound mind and body. The main aim of our educational effort is to prepare citizens for others and not merely to develop "good professional men/women". it prepares its pupils to respect all men and women having different religions, languages and culture.

The medium of instruction of English, but very special emphasis is given to mother tongue i.e., Bengali/Hindi. Moral instruction,, which is essential for character formation is also imparted to all pupils.

The method of education is based on reason loving kindness. We seek to from the young through education, into men and women of character, competence, conscience, compassion and commitment who will foster uprightness in public life.

Special attention is given to ensure a high standard of morality and discipline in the school.

Guardians are requested to collaborate in this with the school Authorities by insisting on regular attendance and punctuality of their wards.
